Finn McGoo's Public House and Eatery

Finest beer you can find.

Just so you know what you're getting, here's an explanation of the different types of beers we offer.

Mild ale is generally considered to be a low-gravity beer with a low hop rate and predominantly malty palate and Light mild is generally similar, but pale in color.

Porters and stouts are generally as dark or darker than old ales, and significantly more bitter. They differ from dark milds and old ales in the use of roast grains, which adds to the bitterness, and lends flavours of toast, biscuit, or coffee.

Lager is the term generally used for bottom-fermented beer.

For all our European Sports Lovers, we will be showing Premiership Soccer, and the entire 6 Nations Rugby Championships starting January 2017. Details will be available here and on our Facebook Page also.

A little about Us....

Finn Mc Goo's is owned by Finbar and Gloria MacCarthy from Dublin Ireland. Finbar has travelled extensively playing Irish Folk Music, while also owning and operating several bars and restaurants together with his wife and family.

In 1992, they emigrated to the USA, settling in Wisconsin, where Finbar was to meet a man who would become a lifelong friend, John (McGoo) McGourthy. When McGoo passed away,in January of 2014, Finbar made him a promise to put both their names over the door of a pub and hence, some two years later,  Finn McGoo's was born !...... in McGoo's old stomping ground of Mequon, Wisconsin.

The mission of Finn McGoo's is to provide an Irish themed pub and restaurant featuring an Irish / American menu, sports from home and abroad and of course the atmosphere of song, stories and laughter that has given Irish Traditional pubs their world renowned character over all the years.
